Moxy Hotels is the first to partner with EPB, Chattanooga’s community-owned energy and communications solutions provider, to give visiting guests the chance to enjoy a greener stay.
In 2017, EPB built the area’s first community solar project, EPB Solar Share, which produces Renewable Energy Credits that are tracked and verified through the North American Renewables Registry.
Using research from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration, we have calculated the average environmental impact of a typical stay in a hotel room and
how much solar power it would take to reduce that impact.
Based on these estimations, we have given you the option of solar-powering your stay.
